how long is the time gap between receiving the email of CI and the offer? I immediately submitted the form and wonder whether that would be benefitial for the process. hhh

We just put the āare you still interestedā form in the portal for the first time today and emailed everyone about it at 1 PM. It didnāt even exist last week, so they couldnāt have gotten an email about it.
by calculation there are 6973 applicants offered a waitlist position this year. Do any of you know how many accepted it?
UVA class of 2024! It seems that many of students were accepted off waitlist for UVA this year.
I responded to the form confirming interest yesterday afternoonish and within a couple hours during my ap bio exam lmao I got a call I was taken off the waitlist for CAS. I think it was my essays and the fact I responded to the form right away that got me pulled. I have 48 hrs to decide. Best of luck everyone; theres still hope!

It seems alot of people OOS are being taken off the waitlist recently. Are there any in state?
its even more depressing being an OOS student who is seeing all these other ppl OOS get in but not you

This is so conflicting because I want to show my interest in going to UVA, but I know they donāt account for demonstrated interest. I really hope I get a call.
The question is, are there any people directly receiving a rejection letter, instead of receiving an acceptance letter or receiving just nothing yet. If there are, then the situation may seem better?
OOS D got acceptance letter late yesterday class rank 1 of 210. Max AP classes. Sat 1380 ACT 33. Long list of diverse extracurriculars, sports, all state recognized. Part time job throughout HS.
Accepted just an hour ago, got a super nice phone call. OOS student, 34 ACT, 9 AP classes. Recognized at state-level for theatre. Not sure whether I will choose UVA over my state school. If you have any questions, feel free to reply and ill get back to you.

The end of senior year has been hard enough and now this waiting game!! I wish we knew numbers of how many are on the list or how many they estimate they are taking!! This waiting game is tough for everyoneā¦in state and out of state students.
