<p>How is UVA Wise overall for an education? I am pretty sure i will get in but just want to get a feel for the college. Also, how is the social life there?</p>
<p>Does UVA-Wise have big sports to watch? Often schools that have sports to watch have more of a campus social life. Is the school a “suitcase school” (meaning that many kids live close enough that they go home for weekends?)</p>

<p>It seems more like a suitcase school, but does have a football team and a basketball team. I would major in economics and look to transfer after one or two years.<br>

The name change signaled a more statewide mission change, but it’s a work in progress. With under 2,000 students, only a quarter live on campus.
