You should have a decision, are you sure you don’t? Read the whole table thing, the decision is bolded. Or you can click “What does my decision mean?” under the table with all your info. It’ll say “Congratulations, etc.” if you got accepted. And I’m guessing you did with those stats.

when i click the “what does my decision mean” button it says no decision. I guess they just are overflowing and taking time?

Hmm yeah, right under Application Data mine says Decision:Admit. So yeah maybe theres overflow, thats too bad
Where do you live? Maybe they release it by region like some other schools.

mine says decision deferred, but when i click on what does my decision mean? it says no decision.
What do you think this means?

Well since you’re deferred they haven’t really made a set decision yet, they need more time to decide for you. When you get your final decision in a few months or w/e something will show up when you click that bcuz it’s your final decision. Like “deferred” isn’t actually a decision, it’s like an extension.
That’s what I’d think anyway…

i live in wisconsin ill give it a week or so and call admissions. It does now give me the option to withdraw my application so that may be a good sign. but thanks for the help.

Decision: Waiting, applied regular admission after stupidly deleting my VIP candidate application email
Applied: Yale (got deferred), U Penn, U of Michigan, U of Virginia, UNC: Chapel Hill, Boston U, Northeastern U, Hampden-Sydney College (accepted)

At this point, UVM is my second choice. After being deferred from Yale, I looked at UVM really closely, and it screams me. I’m African-American so I could bring some diversity, but the atmosphere is eerily identical to where I go to high school, with like very little diversity and lots of inside sayings. I love the cold, and it’s in the perfect location to everything, the lake, the mountains, the mall, and even the airport for me to fly home on breaks. And it has more majors than any school I’ve ever seen. I plan on double-majoring (if possible) in molecular genetics and social work. Hopefully I’ll be accepted, what do you guys think my chances are?

drjotengii - VIP makes it rolling no matter what. No where on the common app did it ask if I was a VIP candidate, and I applied as regular desicion (since I didn’t decide to apply until AFTER the EA deadline) Nonetheless, on the application login page thing, it listed me as VIP and I had my desicion in less than 2 weeks.

drjo,
That’s one pretty list o schools and fabulous stats. I think you have a great chance of getting in anywhere, wouldn’t be surprised if UVM throws you some cash. Usually the safer (statistically) the school the better chance for merit $. Son was feelin Colorado Boulder and Colorado State before his UVM acceptance. Now he seems intrigued by Vermont although he was talking “big football school” I’m thrilled if he chose it cause it’s waaaaay closer to home and he’s not crazy about his other East Coast options so far (Penn State UP and Rhode Island) I’m hopin he’ll chose Green Mountains over Rockies!!!

Thank you guys for replying to my post. It’s good to know that there are people on here in the same situation and going where I would like too, or with kids applying. This whole college process is wild. The waiting is what’s ridiculous. I applied so long ago, and I’m hoping that they’ll release my decision with the first wave on February 16th. If I do end up being accepted to UVM - it’ll come down to UVM and if I get accepted to Yale - UVM is looking stronger now as well. Through this process, I’ve seen that public ivy league schools like UVM are just as good as the pure Ivies, giving the same quality education, with a lower cost, and a more personable environment. At UVM, I feel like I’d fit right in, and branch out as well, Yale is a close knit environment as well, but everyone is the best of the best and the competition could me too much to handle. UVM even has neonatology for when I go to medical school. After looking at the dorms, they might be perfect as well, the Trinity Back Five looking comfy and perfect, a suite style setup and not that far to walk all over campus. And if I could get some financial aid, that would be great. Hopefully, I’ll be a Catamount next year! Congratulations to everyone, and good luck in your college process all!
