@CCwillendme it is stated when you log onto the application portal and click “Decision”. Mine says Feb 9 posting
I got in! Any idea when the acceptance letter should come? To those previously accepted, did the merit aid offer come with the acceptance letter?

@ciaria2021, the merit aid came a few weeks later. I believe I called admissions and they gave an exact date. I loved dealing with UVM, they were so helpful on the phone in the admissions office.

I love this school but I’m from California, so unless I get good merit it would be difficult to attend.
Admission Decision: Accepted (RD)
Date of Submission of Application: 1/4/17
Date of Decision Notification: 2/9/17
Out Of State
School/Department/Major applied to: English in CAS
GPA: 3.9

Any other helpful info: I worked extremely hard on my essay and would like to think it turned out half decent and helped in my admissions in some way
EA merit all went out a day after the 2nd batch of EA decisions were released. I wouldn’t be surprised if RD works the same.
Son was just accepted. He applied 9/1/2016 was was deferred initially (this bothered him). He has good gpa 4.2 but rough SAT score. This was one of his top schools, but when he got deferred he started to focus on other schools that he got into.

- Date of Decision Notification- 2/9
- Out Of State (OOS)

My son and his friend are heading to the Accepted Student’s Day Friday! Anyone else going?
My daughter is going with two friends. UVM is among her top choices, so I’ll be eager to hear what she has to say.
Son17 is not going to accepted students day. He has visited several times in the past and thinks he knows enough about the school to make a decision. It’s his #1 safety. I doubt he’ll end up there, but I think it would be a great place for him to attend. I think he’d have a great 4 years.
Congrats to recent acceptances! Good luck to those still waiting, and those attending Accepted Students day.
We will be hitting an admitted students info session on the 27th. Looking forward to it.
@klinska maybe we will run into each other! We are staying at the Sheraton where registration commences. I hope your daughter and her friends have a great time. Perhaps they will be wandering the campus with my son and his friend!
@xaviermom2017 have you seen the school yet? This will be my daughter’s 3rd visit–first time was just a casual visit where we checked things out on our own last spring, then this past fall we attended an info session and official tour. She really likes it–just have to decide whether it’s worth the extra cost over some of her other options–that may be tough.
@klinska I saw the school once before but my son has not. We are here at the Sheraton now and we went downtown. It’s just as nice as I rembered it!
@xavier9891, how is staying at the Sheraton. We are booked there for next week’s admitted students day.
@elise303 it is highly recommended. Very nice and very convenient!!
Good to hear on the Sheraton. We are staying there too and at present have zero plans to have a car.
You won’t need a car @eandesmom. There is a gift shop, pool, restaurant and gym here at the Sheraton and they offer shuttle service to the University and downtown! Perfect place to stay. I think you will be happy with the choice. We were pleasantly surprised!
