UVM EA decisions

They are supposed to be released on the 17th. Does anyone know what time?

5pm

10charr

I received mine on November 29

Admission decisions and acceptances into the Honors College have been coming out over the last several weeks…

My decision release date is today, i’m sure we will receive decisions sometime this afternoon.

Does the decision (if affirmative obviously) also provide the Honors College invite if you’re going to get one and any merit award or do those come separate?

School told D. today even though they just finally received her transcript last Wednesday. So 17th must be a big floodgate date. D applied to the nursing school in November but her school just sent the transcript --thinking it was RD.

Last year my daughter received both Honors College invite and Merit award info separately from admission decision. Each under separate cover, 5-6 days after admissions letter.

46 minutes….

my daughter just got an email that she has been accepted to the nursing school.

my son was accepted!

I got in!!! Congrats y’all :)

I got in! (December 17th 5:00p.m.)

My DD was accepted too! Congrats to all!

I got in as well, but I’m deciding between UVM and University of Denver…

Congrats simonegabriella – both great schools! Tough choice.

Need some help here. S’14 applied to UVM; was deferred. I am a working mom who visited as many colleges as I could fit in but did not get to visit UVM. Many of his friends have gone there and loved it, but now (being deferred) he needs to write a “statement of interest” to convey why he wants to go there.

What would you all say are the big strong points of UVM? What departments really shine?

S is an easy going, friendly, caring, athletic guy who has tons of friends and is a good friend to others. He really likes history, and also likes being able to steer his own path (choose the way he learns and have some input in the assignments he is given). His ideal school is one where there are small classes, it’s ok to ask questions, the professors care about learning, and the student body is engaged and friendly.

Is he looking at the right school?

Thanks all

^^^
I would have your son look at the website and write about what interest him. He should let UVM know that this is his number one school and if accepted will attend.

There really is no right answer. Your son just needs to show that he passionate about attending a UVM.
