help! deciding between these 3 schools. undecided major, possibly film studies, communications, or sociology. any imput would be soooo helpful! oh, and im from ny so bing is the cheapest but i also got 20,000 a year from tulane. moneys not my #1 concern though. thanks so much for your help

have any advice or suggestions? i still need help!! =)

Out of those schools I PERSONALLY would pick Tulane since its smallest and in New Orleans which would be an amazing cultural experience.

We need to know more about your preferences. Is there a specific reason you applied to UVM? That seems kind of odd OOS so there must have been something that attracted you to UVM.

I got into Tulane and Bing too! Tulane just seems to have a great campus life so I’d probably choose it out of the two, but I didn’t find the students to take their academics as seriously as I would like there so I doubt I’ll be attending. The scholarship is nice too though!!!

I know Tulane students come across as laid back sometimes, and life there is very balanced between academics, community service, and fun. But Tulane students are serious about doing well in school. It just isn’t one of those places where it is all about deep philosophical discussions 24/7. Isn’t that a good thing?

the reason i chose uvm is because the people seemed chill there and not as preppy/guido as tulane, and not a big frat scene. and i kind of think bing is a mix of people, some more hippie, some more preppy. its a hard decision, especially since i dont know what my major will be, so i cant base my decision off the school with the best program in my interests. i definitely dont want to go to a huge school that i will get lost in, and i would like to have small class sizes as well.

…any more advice or suggestions? time’s running out! ;)
