UW asked for first semester grades and second semester schedule OH GOD

biggest factor that weighs me down is my GPA

does this mean they already looked at my entire application?
or they're in the process of reviewing my application?

I basically tried to forget that I even applied because like honestly, my chance of getting accepted is one in a million. But they sent me a request for mid-year grades and second semester schedule. What does this mean exactly?

For the mid-year grades, assuming they are currently available, every applicant needs to send all their available transcripts. So that’s nothing to worry about.

As for the second semester schedule…usually you fill out those details on the application form. At least, that’s what I recall doing when I submitted my application on Saturday. So yeah, this request is a little unusual. It could just be that you didn’t fill out that part of the application form, but you put somewhere else that you expected to graduate from your college at a certain date in the future that would imply you would be taking courses then. That would be a simple clerical matter and they may not have looked at your application at all apart from that.

I can’t really think of another reason for why they would request these details. Either way, I don’t think it’s anything to stress over.

They generally do not ask for the first semester transcript, however there may be some special cases.

Good luck  My GPA is low as well… I hope we both get accepted :D

I’d go with the first reply. It’s because of the fact that that particular section of your application may be incomplete or obscure. I’m an international student, when I filled my application there was an entire section only for my transcripts. When I got my UW netID I checked to make sure they had everything they needed. It could also be for the fact that the program you applied for is a little more competitive and they’re checking the rigor of school work

Did UW email you?

hi michelle

yes… :frowning: did they email YOU?
