If your unofficial transcript loads, then you have been accepted. It takes one to two days for the portal to update. You should be receiving your official letter one to two weeks after your acceptance.
@gubaee I emailed them! I know they got my new transcript and looked at it because they told me my Intro to Statistics class didn’t satisfy the math requirement for them. I took my Intro to Stats class my last quarter (Winter) so that’s why I sent updated transcripts to them because I had taken a math class. Nowhere in the email did they say they didn’t want me to send updated transcripts.
You can also see all the credits that transferred over by looking at My Plan and then looking at View Transfer Courses. All the classes I took and what they translate into are there.
@julietjuju3 Oh~~ I see nice. That goes back to my earlier question. For CS major, we didn’t have to apply general admission and, department separately. So we don’t really get accepted by general admission first and then department from what I saw and heard. So we don’t have any way to check “My Plan, or View Transfer Courses” since we don’t have an account.
Are u CS major but have account already by any chance?
@gubaee You can check my plan. But if you didn’t get admitted, you manually add all the courses you took. You can login using the netid given for the admissions process or using facebook or google.
I manually added my classes. I used it to plan when I would take all my classes and if I finished all my gen ed courses. It’s helpful if you have the time to choose the classes and add them one by one.
@transfer3018 I don’t have NetID.I’ve never got any email from them about NET ID yet. I think same for all CS major applicants.
@transfer3018 Actually, I am not sure now anymore. Maybe it’s just me who doesn’t have NET ID. I just emailed them asking for my UW NetID
@gubaee Yeah. You should confirm because I don’t think Net ID depends on the major.
@gubaee Yeah just hit them up about it, I applied for CS and they sent me the NET ID email a few months ago. Damn though, this is stressful just waiting and waiting, hopefully admission letters start rolling in soon
does anyone know how to check financial aid status after being accepted?
@transfer3018 @vetuwtransferpls yea thank you guys. I just set my UW NetID
Hey, guys so I’m not sure if anyone knows but theoretically, if one is accepted into the UW and one happens to get a bad grade, could UW revoke one’s admission?
@akoopa44
I heard that they still can revoke your admission if you received like a really bad grade. Not talking about 4.0 dropping to a 3.5.
But practically failing half of your classes or receiving a few Fs or Ds in the last semester/quarter.
I talked to the admission office. They said they are releasing decisions by waves. & that it’s very random.
I’m a current UWB student trying to transfer (first year)
Has anyone from a 4-year university that is trying to transfer heard back yet? I know the chances for us are really slim compared to transfers from community colleges.
is anyone else still waiting to hear back? I’ve been checking every day, every few hours and still nothing I’m worried
I’m still waiting to hear back too. Does this mean that I have a small chance to get in? Does anyone receive a rejection?
I know its just the “beginning” of the notification which was supposed to start 4 days ago, but I feel really stressed that a lot of people have heard back already and I haven’t! I live in state but go to a private out of state 4 year college. I applied for LSJ and last year (my freshman year in college) I finished with a 3.93 overall GPA. (I got 1 A- first semester and second semester I got a 4.0). Want to hear ASAP because I can’t afford Northeastern but love UW!
Well it says the notification period starts June but people have already been hearing back since April which sucks because it’s completely random
Anyone heard back from biology major? i got accepted to UWB in March, but still waiting for UWS. My friend got accepted to Anthropology at UWS last month, but she already paid the fee for University of Michigan.
@TTng212 Hey if you dont mind, could you ask your friend her stats? Also which branch of anthropology?
