UW Bothell vs WSU

Which diploma would look more impressive one from UW Bothell or from WSU?

If I’m not mistaken, the UW Bothell diploma looks the same as the UW Seattle one. Honestly though, WSU would be much better if you want to have a real college experience since UW Bothell is a commuter campus that doesnt offer the same experience as a main college campus.

@PCrowlz, I believe you are mistaken.

@alfanzo2, it depends on what you want to go to college for.
also it depends on what you can afford.
In my case, WSU was way too expensive as they expected me to take out nearly 7 thousand in loans each year. not worth, sorry WSU…
UWB actually gave me money to go to their school.

If your goal is to eventually transfer to the main campus… go to a community college for your first year and try and transfer after you have earned 45 credits.

If you want a science degree, WSU is a lot more equipped, however the prof I do research under at UWB is currently hiring staff positions for new degrees at UWB. Among them is a chemistry and possibly a physics degree. For sure a Chemistry degree as of right now.

UWB will be a great campus… in about 5-6 years. As of right now, its over crowded, has poor degrees to choose from, no real student life experience… actually dont get my started on student life, and its lack of experienced employees forces students to self advocate. For example, there is not an adviser at UWB that can tell you how to get into med school… (they’re thinking of hiring one though).

I went to UWB for my first year and 1 quarter and am now transferring to the main campus to finish pre-pharm reqs and a bio chem degree.

UWB does not have most professional school pre-reqs, and while they boast med school pre-reqs… dont expect to get them done in under 4 years, and dont expect to be on par with other students applying from other 4 year colleges.
