Can somebody confirm this?
No one can confirm. They don’t share until they start sending them out. It is all a big secret, every time, every year.
I wouldn’t worry about the recovery email for Net ID. If you didn’t get one it’s because you already set one up.
what is a competitive ACT/SAT score for Wisconsin?
Competitive ACT scores for Madison depend on if you are in state, out of state or MN reciprocity resident. Each seem to be different. Look up some college data websites if you really want to see the differences.

Typically for an out of state student what stats do you need. I have a 30 ACT and a 3.5 gpa. I am just trying to figure out my chances of getting in.
I will pull up the data later today that I have seen for OOS,and share with you.

Good Luck everyone! Hope I get in as UW Madison is one of my top choices.
Haven’t seen too many changes to the portal over the last week, other than the appearance of the fifth box. Unfortunately I never really paid attention to what it looked like before, so who knows?
@california01 here is a great place to plug in your data https://www.collegedata.com/en/prepare-and-apply/admissions-tracker/ and compare to others who were out of state and CA specific. You would want to try sorting by grades and act and specific state to get an idea. I found significant differences using this (and other resources our high school offered such as Naviance) than general act guidelines or data out there as those were grouped with in state stats.
so are we hopeful for tomorrow?
I am!
can anyone else add classes for fall of 2019 into their cart?
@mvoigt Yes but I wouldn’t read anything into it
@mvoigt this may be a good sign I remember during EA some of the candidates was discussing this. Another thing to check, which came up during EA, is the Application summary. Over there during EA lot of people were reporting (day before the results were out) of the change in the field of major they applied (I think the 2nd major came up). So you should check that, did it change?
Mine didn’t but not everyone’s changed just the ones that either got rejected or accepted into their secondary major. Has anyone’s changed?
I’ve been keeping an eye on that too … no change. But many applicants were reclassified in an alternate major just before EA announcements.
Our one did not change.
