UW essays = UC essays?

<p>So I'm currently working on my UC essays right now, and I remembered that UW had some similar prompts so I went on to check, and they did turn out to be pretty similar in my opinion. I mean I would probably be using the same stories/topic/arguments for them both. Plus the word counts are about the same as well. </p>

<p>So do you guys agree that they are basically interchangeable?</p>

<p>Topics for essays are very often similar among many univsersities (e.g., if you are using common app, they are exactly the same). What may serve for one may also serve for another with the caveat that you need to check closely so you are not sending to UW an essay that says how impressed you are with the UCs.</p>
