UW Madison Acceptance Rescinded?

Hello,

I was just recently accepted to UW Madison two days ago and I am concerned about my current grades and whether or not they will lead to my acceptance being rescinded. I have usually gotten either one B or one B+ each year (except for last year, where I got all A’s) but at the moment, my first semester senior grades are at two B’s. I have about a 3.9 or 3.95 GPA (not including this semester’s grades) and my two B’s would be in an advanced composition class and an AP French class. I am also taking AP Calc and AP Physics among other classes in addition to a couple more advanced/AP classes next semester, so it isn’t a particularly easy set of classes. Will this be a problem/could my acceptance be rescinded for this? How bad do my grades have to be for my acceptance to be rescinded from UW Madison?

Thanks!

And I was accepted through early action if that makes any difference.

You can see if there are any specific guidelines on the UW website but general rule quoted on CC is to avoid D’s, F’s and felonies. You should be just fine.

Um, definitely not. Getting 2 Bs, especially in higher-level classes, is not nearly enough to get your decision rescinded. Don’t even sweat it.

You should check your offer of admission to see if it lists any specific conditions regarding grades or GPA or other things that you need to fulfill to retain your admission offer.
