Okay, so I applied to UW Madison in early november, and I am getting very impatient about whether I got in. I would like an honest opinion on whether you think I will get in, and I am going to post very basic stats. If you want me to say more then please ask and I will post more if you want. Are these numbers even good enough?
ACT: 27
GPA UW: 3.6
GPA W: 3.9
Illinois Resident
Major: Chemistry in the college of letters and science
Also, I forgot, but my class rank is 88/676, which is the top 13 percent
Bump!
Bump
Bump
bump
Bump!! Please someone say something
I say you are pretty good but if you can get higher test scores you should be eligible.
Thanks for commenting, someone finally answered. But I am a senior, so test scores are final. I really would have loved a 28 or 29 on the ACT ( a 30 is basically unattainable for me), but my reading skills are what killed me, and retaking it and getting higher would be very hard
A family member of mine got in with a 28 and not an unreal GPA so U have a chance for sure
I think that you have a decent chance. I wouldn’t deny you. Good luck! Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1726672-i-will-chance-you-back-p1.html
good shot, stats are decent.
Thanks for the nice input everyone! @12345n @manas1997 @fightingillini97
I really hope I get in, because Madison is a great school!!!
@evanm137 Yup I wish you good luck! Would you mind chancing back please? thank you
Yes I will
So everyone, I heard back from Madison yesterday. I was postponed. I don’t know what to expect. Anybody know anything about a postpone at Madison? I am somewhat proud though, because I was not rejected (It shows that they see potential in me), and applying as out of state to Madison is way harder than in state. I think I have a shot at still getting in, I just don’t know what is going to happen at all.
