We got the soar message but you had to download the soar app, it didn’t load automatically. Search “soar” and try to load it.

I am from nj and we don’t have it. It could well mean that my kid did not get in.

I think it’s for students to set up orientation/classes and stuff like that but not 100% sure

Soar is to pick classes, meet with advisor. Some social events. All the clubs and frats are on display.
how legitimate do we think this pending or not pending is. are the people getting accepted only are the ones who’s soar says pending? or will others still be accepted? i realize we cannot answer these questions, but I am just trying to put things in perspective and get others opinions.
I assume there will be deferrals to regular decision and some acceptances and rejections of course. if the SOAR theory is real a deferral would presumably also not have access.
I wouldn’t be so sure that it’s today. My college center at school has not heard a word from our rep and they usually give them some notice as to if decisions are coming soon

My son applied to the engineering school from out of state (Washington, DC) and he has the SOAR notice to “accept your offer of admission”

I was reading upthread that the temperature two nights ago was -16. I was asking at home why this school was even on the list :-). That’s brutal.
