UW-Madison or University of Iowa

I am looking at these two schools with either a pre-med or pre-physicians assistant major most likely Biology. I really liked the campus at Iowa but Madison is nice too. I am a WI resident but recevied a great scholarship at Iowa so the cost between the two is almost the same. Is Madison too good of a school to pass up for Iowa?

Last year Iowa took away some scholarships from in-state students due to budgetary reasons. I am a little worried they could take away my scholarship money after my freshmen year. Is that something I should be concerned about?

Which school has a better pre-med/biology program?

Thanks for the advice.

The real question is why Biology? If you don’t go to medical school (highly likely), it isn’t the best major. The next question is where can you survive OChem? UW is a powerhouse in anything with chemistry in its name. That isn’t necessarily good for someone that wants to go to medical school. But it is hard to pass UW at instate prices.
