UW- Madison vs. Ohio State

I have recently been admitted to Ohio State, UW- Madison, and Purdue. I am still waiting to hear back from Michigan and North Carolina. I think I have narrowed it down between UW- Madison and Ohio State though. I am planning to study biochemistry to eventually work in a lab setting for a few years for a pharm. company and then eventually move into the business side of things (I've already talked to employers about the business side, they said a biochem degree would be sufficient). I plan to hopefully go to graduate school. I live in Ohio so it would be much cheaper to go to OSU but my parents said that money shouldn't be an issue.

Now to the part where I need your guys' help. Finding where I can get the best education for my future, where I will fit in best, and of course have a typical college experience.

I am a very sociable, I will probably decide to join a fraternity (I could fit the positive frat stereotype well). I enjoy watching sports but don't worship it like some people. I have a play hard, work harder mentality with school and social life. I know I probably fit the profile well for each school but any feedback will help me make the right decision!

Thanks!

OSU. It’s only undergraduate, OP. It hardly matters where you go for biochem, as long as the school offers it. Save your money and have a really good time at Columbus. Go to one of the others for grad school, if you still have the itch.

Money really isn’t the issue with choosing a college. I am so very fortunate enough to have parents that will pay for me wherever I want to go. Which school sounds better for a person like me?

Madison is a wonderful school but you’re an outgoing person and will likely find plenty of friends at OSU. They’re so close that it’s really upto you. I’d rather be in Madison than Columbus.

Thanks for the input @jkeil911‌ hopefully I will make the right decision. If anyone else has experience with these two schools please let me know

OSU. There is really little to differentiate the two schools. That being the case. go to the less expensive. Med school will more than make up for those savings.
