Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to go to the Madison. Last year I visited, and confirmed my love for the school. I also visited some other schools in the Midwest such as Lacrosse, Marquette, Twin Cities, Mankato, Plattville, and Stout. I'm terrified that I won't get in! My unweighted GPA is 3.81, and weighted it is 3.94. I am involved in a varsity sport, and have lettered in academics twice. I volunteer at the local library, and I am the HOSA club at my school. I also have a part time job at Goodwill. I'm only a sophomore, but I've taken the PSAT and the PLAN test. I scored a 28 for the Pre-ACT, and a 1900 on the Pre-SAT. Are these scores okay? What should I do to raise them? I am a Minnesota resident, but Wisconsin and Minnesota have reciprocity. Does that make a difference? What could I do to distinguish myself from other candidates? Do you think I will get in? I plan to get my Masters in Occupational Therapy! Thanks for your help!

^ Agree. Getting 28 in PLAN and 190 in 10th grade PSAT are very impressive. Keep up the good works. You should be able to aim even higher, but UWI Madison is a great school already. There are at least 2 programs that can give you in state tuition for UWI as Minnesota resident. One is offered directly by the school. Another one is the mid-west exchange program. Check them out.
