In HS i had a 3.91 W gpa, I'm not sure what it would be UW, probably no lower than a 3.6
My best sitting for the SATs was a 1860 (1240).
I have a LOT of EC's but I don't think it's heavily weighed..
-I was deferred freshman year, than rejected. My brother graduated from UW</p>
<p>I attended UMD College Park my first sem. as a bio major, but only achieved a 3.0.
Maryland's GPA system is 80-89 = 3.0, mine were all high 80's .. even an 89 in bio.. which is so discouraging because they dont see that :(
My courses were pretty rigorous (Chem I, Bio I, Calc I, Eng. Composition, Community Enrichment). </p>
<p>and most importantly, I had to transfer after first semester closer to home due to a sudden ailment in the family, and I wrote a letter explaining that this may have been reflected in my grades..</p>

<p>Thank you, and CONGRATS! I wrote them a letter explaining both and they said they attached it to my application so hopefully that helps. I also mentioned I’m taking summer bio/chem courses at BU hah (I was actually going to attend there for this semester but couldn’t cost-wise). Hopefully I stand somewhat of a chance, it’s been my dream school forever… </p>

<p>I heard back a couple weeks ago! I’m so excited to transfer there! I’m going to be starting in the summer though. I can’t wait :)</p>
