<p>Has anyone received an email inviting you to set up your UW NetID so that you can check application status? The site says it was suppose to go out in January.</p>

<p>I haven’t. I would like to know as well. I did email them a couple weeks ago asking if there was a way to check my application status and it just said that due to the high volume of applicants they were unable to do application status checks. So not sure what to make of this ordeal.</p>

<p>I never received an email but I just set my UW NetID up by going to Your UW Account | University of Washington . You"ll need your email & password that you used to apply to UW. Hope that helps.</p>

<p>I actually asked UW and they said they will give UWNetID after the deadline which is 2/15. so don’t worry bro.</p>

<p>I tried to create a NetID account but said I wasn’t eligible yet? They received my application this morning. I used my same username that I used to apply. </p>

<p>Don’t be afraid to make interesting NetIDs XD. I’ve seen a number of amusing ones throughout my time here.</p>

<p>You don’t “receive a uw netID” you’re eligible to make one after you’re “invited” to make one when I send an email . It can be a complex procedure. MY UW account and UW NETID are two different things.</p>

<p>UW still hasn’t sent me any sort of email, but I was able to make one. What gives? I checked whether they received my app, and they have. Hating how UW just kinda leaves you out in the cold with very little info.</p>

<p>Altho that is true relacircle, but their admissions office is very prompt. Send em an email and you’ll get a reply within a day or two.</p>
