I am trying to decide between University of Washington and Boston University. I don't know what I am going to major in so I want a lot of opportunities to discover what I want to do. I am in liberal arts programs at both and I plan on attending graduate school or some post undergrad studies so I want to have a well rounded background when I come out of undergrad. Anyone have any opinions on which one they prefer?

Personally, i prefer University of Washington but you'd probably expect to find that on the UW forum.

I honestly don't know much about Boston University but if it's similar to UW, i would say that you should probably take the offer from the school that offers the best financial aid package

I didnt apply for financial aid anywhere but uw is cheeper

To me this is a no-brainer. UW has great academics, a large, well-defined, spectacularly beautiful campus, and great athletics in the PAC 10. BU has comparably good academics, but no athletic program anybody has ever heard of, and worst of all, its campus is like a bunch of office buildings in the middle of Boston. You can't even tell where it is. Take a look at their website and you'll see what I mean.

If you want good academics AND the the full blown "college experience", it's no contest.

I agree with fgnicols, I heard their campus is just like a bunch of buildings and resembles nothing of a college campus. I have friends taht go to other Boston schools, and they all say BU kind of sucks overall compared to the others, BC, NE, etc.
