Hey guys
I got into UW foster (freshman direct) and occidental college (probably major in econ) down in California. I am looking towards a career in financial management and was wondering which was a better option. I probably will get an MBA in the future if that makes any difference
Also I love UW because of all of its opportunities but I also like occidental's small class size
No idea which one to choose

these schools are so so different. UW has almost 20x as many students as occidental, which has about 2500. this changes the campus feel, size, extracurricular opportunities, and academics. if you have a chance to visit either of the colleges that would probably be the most helpful for you.

I’m not as familiar with Occidental, but I know UW has a good reputation amongst grad schools, if you choose to pursue a masters or Phd elsewhere. if I recall correctly I think they also have a 5 year MBA program, which helps. If you have in-state tuition and are okay staying in-state, you should definitely go UW. additionally, UW has a lot of design and STEM programs that you won’t have at Occidental. I know you’re looking at liberal arts, but it’s always nice to have options available.
