University of Washington, Seattle, USA status:
Accepted, Pre-major, Arts and Sciences College

University of British Columbia, Canada status:
Accepted, Combined Major Business administration and computer science, Sauder School of Business, Department of Computer Science

What do you think? I currently live in Greece (Europe), money is about the same for both Universities

I really want business. In UW, i have to pass the pre-requisite courses, but in UBC, everything is ready, plus it's combined major

It depends on whether you prefer the British style of college education (more depth) or the American’s (more liberal education).

Here’s the curriculum for a business major at UBC:
[Sauder School of Business | Bachelor of Commerce - New BCom Program - Direct Entry - Years One to Four (Direct Entry - 2006 or later) Commerce Course Requirements](http://www.sauder.ubc.ca/Programs/Bachelor_of_Commerce/Program_Overview/Requirements/New_BCom_Program_-_Direct_Entry)

Ok, can you please analyze the advantages and the disadvantages of each system?

I’d say that the two schools are very similar in both caliber and setting. Udub is more urban, but downtown Vancouver is close enough to UBC. Both have good business schools.

Generally speaking, Canadian schools are far more like US institutions than British ones in terms of curriculum. However, the Business program is a preprofessional program that is focused in manner very similar to the British model. The difference is that in the US you would study a number of subjects and focus on one or two, while in Britain you would study one subject almost exclusively.
