UW or UCLA for Molecular/Cell Biology

Hi,

I am a Washington HS student and I was accepted into Life Sciences at both these universities. I would love to hear some advice or insight about the two schools. My goal is most likely to go on to grad school or do premed/medschool. Since I am an out of stater for CA, the cost is probably 2x more at UCLA. For us it is doable but needs to be worthwhile.

Thanks!

as someone from california, i have a bunch of friends at UCLA.

a couple of them are actually in that program at the moment, and they absolutely love the school and the program. besides just the program, they seem to be loving the UCLA experience in general- i.e. student life, sports, greek life, etc. the weather 99% of the year is also close to perfect if you enjoy the sun. if you’re looking for a school with awesome weather, a really fun and lively undergrad experience with rigorous classes as well, i think you’d really love UCLA
