Are they going to be more strict this year? I heard they rescinded 27 people last year.

I am very worried at the moment because I currently have a 3.3 weighted gpa and a 2.8 unweighted. Do you think they would rescind someone for these types of grades?

i would guess they would look at your previous gpa and your senior year classes to see just how much it dropped. honestly i would get it back up before the end of the year; they padded their waitlist with 1000 extra people who they wanted to admit but decided to put on the waitlist instead, and these people, like myself, all are keeping their grades up because there are so many who still want to get in and they look at everyone’s senior year grades–admitted and waitlist–to decide where to go. i have a 3.7 senior year gpa with 3 ap classes; i would be willing to bet that tons of other waitlisted people are similar to this, showing uw that they can resist senioritis. just get your grades up, good luck

just keep above a 3.0 and your golden, hell you could probably get a 2.0 and still not get rescinded. They only rescind people with like a 1.0 or failed a class or something. See you next year in Seattle
