Can I get into psych or philosophy with a 3.1 gpa? I have a pretty inconsistent record. I’m a military vet and worked while trying to stay in school. I was hoping perseverance was something that schools might look favorably upon? I just wanted to accomplish my goal and didn’t have much advice being a first-generation. I’ll be getting my AA from SPSCC this summer. I’m Hispanic if that matters.
Hmm, well 3.1 is definitely below the average transfer GPA so its hard to say. If you have a really compelling story its certainly possible but you might need to meet with a professional advisor for better advice than a fellow transfer student.
