So I live near Seattle and want to stay in the area. So far I've been admitted to Seattle U and University of Puget Sound, and I'm waiting to hear back from University of Washington but I'm fairly sure that I'm getting in. The two I've been accepted to have given me scholarships such that all three schools will be roughly the same price, so the money part isn't a factor in my decision.
I am planning on studying physics or something else STEM-related, with a minor in music. I recently did an overnight with the Seattle U physics program and I LOVED it. I loved everything about the school, except I understand that for some reason people tend to think of it as a low-caliber school. I couldn't care less about ratings, but I assume there's some reason in the general opinion.
I haven't yet visited University of Puget Sound, but it sounds like it might be a bit too small for me, and I like UW but I think it would be too large. I want somewhere where I can have access to research opportunities and whatnot, but again, the general consensus seems to be that UW is far superior to Seattle University for some reason. I also know that UPS is good for music, but I don't know much about their reputation for STEM programs.
Thoughts on my choice between the three? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m considering Seattle U too and both my parents went to UW and my uncle works at U of Puget Sound so I know a bit about every school. All of them have really good standings. My uncle absolutely loves Puget and thinks everyone there is really clean cut and nice. UW is recognized world-wide, Seattle U is recognized nationally, and Puget sound I’m not sure about. Seattle U definitely is a high caliber school though.

The good thing about UW is that there are a lot of Research opportunities. NASA has even visited the school’s business and physics department. It Is is a school where you would have a lot of intern and job opportunities.

UW is large, but from what I’ve heard from relatives and alumni, its pretty easy to get involved. They have a large Greek life and hundreds of clubs.

I would personally go with UW considering their amazing physics department, opportunities, and ranking. Good luck!
