<p>Hi everyone!
I have already started applying to different WA universities, including UW.
I know that UW has two more campuses - in Bothell and Tacoma. Both of them have my major (Accounting), but should I choose them If I will be rejected from Seattle?
Is there anybody here who have studied on those campuses? How are the classes?
What reputation do those campuses have?</p>
<p>I'm pretty sure I will get into both WSU and WWU. Should I choose them instead of Tacoma and Bothell?</p>
<p>I’d second Raamzic’s ranking. Especially if campus life is any consideration, I’d strongly recommend WSU or WWU over any of UW’s branch campi ( though UW Seattle still remains heads and shoulders above WSU or WWU in terms of academic rigor) If you can get in there, go. If not then both WSU and WWU offer strong accounting programs, engaging teachers and good, convivial campus life. Best of luck!</p>
<p>UW Bothell and UW Tacoma use much of the same faculty as UW Seattle. They are literally the same school at a different location. There are some programs which require classes at other campuses and I will be taking classes at UW Bothell.</p>
<p>But yeah, you’ve all gotten it right that it goes UW, WSU then WWU as far as our state schools go.</p>

<p>My friend from HS did running start and then went to UW Bothell directly after his AAS and now he just puts “Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration - Finance Major, University of Washington” on his CV. He’s like 23 now and runs his own bank branch.</p>
<p>Yeah, I’m more interested in the program itself and possible connections I can get during the program. Campus life or something else aren’t important to me :)</p>
<p>P.S. Forgot to mention - I’m a transfer student from Seattle.</p>
<p>No offense or anything, but how can I be all wrong? I stated that they were based off my preferences and not any data. Anyways, it was mentioned in another thread about that whole “University of Washington” diploma, and it does say that it only says University of Washington at the top, but it also states where you got that degree and the chancellor that signed it. I believe that is considered equivocation which in a sense, is a crime.</p>
<p>@seatac: Classes for my Business Minor are on that campus and I live right by there, I can see UWB from my living room window. It is literally the same school. I disagree about the idea that it’s something you have to delineate as a UWB or UWT degree. They’re all UW and if you can’t get into a class you need at UW Seattle, you can take it at UWB and vice-versa.</p>
<p>There campus feels small. There’s not many buildings but there’s a big nature preserve and in nice weather it’s pretty awesome to eat lunch down there. Bothell is a pretty slow town. There are some nice little restaurants and Ranch Burger on Bothell way is awesome, but other than that the town is really sleepy. Assuming you’re from SeaTac, I would imagine it would be a welcome change from hearing airplanes flying overall all the time.</p>

I guess I will try to apply to UWB - anyway it’s closer than WWU or WSU for me But will see where I will get scholarships or something…</p>
<p>They’ve got Husky Village now. They bought an entire apartment complex and turned it into 4 dorms, about 10 min walk from class at the most. 2-3 people per dorm apartment. There’s also a convenient bus stop to go straight to Downtown Seattle.</p>
<p>UWB would look better on a resume than WWU or WSU, but I’d be proud to go to either of those schools. My sister went to WWU and she never left, she loved Bellingham so much.</p>
<p>We have a family friend who is finishing up his business degree at Bothell. He spent all 4 years there and really enjoyed it (I’m talking classes/profs here). Runs his own business now. It actually sounds ideal for you seatac, if UWSeattle doesn’t workout. I second the thought that the business degree stating University of Washington would be worth more to you in the long run.</p>
But will see where I will get scholarships or something…</p>
