Yea, they’re effectively equivalent. You’d have different opportunities at each, but you can’t know in advance what they’ll be.

Here are a cpl factor to consider:
- AMZN and MSFT hire a lot of interns, if you plan to grab one of those internships it probably
helps to already be in Seattle (or be familiar with it), I know many GT grads who ended up
working in there. - SV is closer to Seattle
- Seattle is a nicer city than Atlanta
- WHISTLER IS CLOSE TO SEATTLE!!!
The schools are all equivalent for CS. If you’re looking for a place that’s more entrepreneurial, I’d go with Seattle.
All are outstanding for CS. If one is better known in your home county that may be worth factoring into your decision.

UW costs me 32000 USD more than GT, would it be worth it?
Doesn’t GT have better incubators?
GT is more known here and it’s 32k USD cheaper…but UW is in Seattle, which is better than Atlanta, what do you think would be a wise choice?
I would not pay more for UW.

GTech for $32,000 less than UW is a great deal.
They’re academically equivalent, so go with the (relatively) more affordable option. 
Also, if you don’t like rain, Atlanta is better than Seattle weather-wise. 
Seriously, they’re equivalent, so choosing the less expensive one only makes sense.

You originally said cost didn’t factor into it. Now you’re saying it does. If GT is $32K less than UW, then go to GT.
It really doesn’t as 32k over 4 yrs makes no diff for an international student already paying hefty fees, but it would be better to consider it than tossing a coin!

Hi ! I’m an international student from India too. I also got into Georgia Tech, UIUC and University of Washington Seattle (direct admit) for CS. I ended up choosing University of Washington for its location. If you end up choosing University of Washington, I would love to connect with you !
