UW Seattle VS UCSB !

(First time posting..)

Hi! I'm looking for some opinions on UW seattle vs. Ucsb. I am a bio science major, however, I'm most likely going to major in business instead. As I'm a CA resident, tuition for UW (all loans..) will cost me a little more than twice than for UCSB.

What are your opinions on going to UCSB (and possibly transferring to a private university) vs. UW?

Is it relatively easy to switch majors in both schools..? (ucsb -- econ, uw -- Foster business)

Thanks!

Thank you!

Do you happen to know if it’s easy to switch majors at SB? from bio to econ…?

UCSB all the way – beautiful campus, great campus scene, beautiful people, California weather, beaches and top-notched academics.

No idea about shifting at UCSB, but I heard it shouldn’t be a problem.

SB is a no-brainer. Just make sure you take the Econ pre-reqs and you’ll be good to go. SB also offers some strong accounting courses.

Not many top privates are transfer-friendly. For biz, consider NYU-Stern and Cornell-AEM, or USC-Marshall.
