Languages: 2 Years of Spanish
Essay: (1) not-so-typical childhood revolved around legos and computers rather than playgrounds and video games
(2) visit to other states and how living in hawaii has shaped my values
Extra classes:
-- 4 years of nationally recognized media program
-- 3 years of being the Creative Director within broadcast journalism branch of the media program,
-- Traveled nationally to national video competition all 3 years
-- Won numerous awards both in-state level and nationally
(I listed all eight [only national] awards in additional space)

-- Section Editor during junior year, created school-wide advertisements

<p>I think you will be fine.
UW loves the upward grade trends, which your grades portray.
You have a multitude of classes and seem to be very focused on your goal(s).
Hopefully UW looks past your 1720 SAT, and focuses on the strong portions within your application.

Of course you’ll get in. People with less stellar stats than yours were accepted last year ;).
