@kev9532 I am just giving you the information that I heard from them. I went to the transfer Thursday section, they said a solid UW gpa 3.5 is good enough, then I asked them how about GPA they were looking for a CC student, they said 3.9-ish.
This year is so damn competitive since I am sitting next to 2 guys who are having really high GPAs, 3.94 and 3.97 lol.
I have no idea about the transcript. I guess we only update it if being asked…

@kev9532 just wondering why you did not apply to any UC school? since they are really good and you have more chances than UW ?
@thaipq I got waitlisted by UCLA but got in UCSD. However, those are not my top choices if Berkeley is not an option… I also applied for GaTech and UTexas but UW is really right now my first choice. it is hard to explain, probably want to experience new environment if I cannot stay in San Francisco (Right now I am in San Francisco). It is like, if I am rejected by one I love, I’d better choose to stay away.

@Nogizaka what is your major? And I dont think they would answer you unless the decision is already out.
@thaipq You are right, they just said it is still in process so please wait until the very end of this month. If I did not received anything, call them again at that time. I major in sociology.
can we say yes to one school while waiting for UW? The deadline to UCSD is June 1st. I understand that I will need to pay the deposit.
You can. You just may lose the deposit. Once you register for classes and what not at UCSD, you may be required to pay some of the tuition, but as long as you withdraw from the university by a certain date, you can get your tuition money back. I’m considering doing the same thing, honestly.
got rejected by UT-austin… god, no luck this year… 
@kev9532 Sorry but I have to say you would not have much chance for UT-austin since that school mostly accepts in-state transfer students.
btw, do you mind if I ask what core courses have you taken for CSE program?
@thaipq Doesn’t UW accept mainly in-state transfers as well, with a moderate portion of students coming from California and others as international students?
