Got an email. I got accepted to EE too!
@CallMeADawg I know the feeling…this isn’t my first time applying to UW. But at this point I just want to get my education started, I’m slightly older than the on-time transfer students so I just wanna get this ball rolling. And if I go for my Masters, which I will likely do, my BA school will affect that. UW is obviously more reputable than WWU…
I checked on MyUW page and saw this:
Your application to the UW Tacoma has been reviewed. All applicants are informed of admission decisions by mail when results of the review process become available.
I applied for Fall Quarer 2015.
I also checked unofficial transcripts but it’s still in 500 error page.
Anyone know about this issues ? This is my first time apply as transfer student to UW Tacoma

I think what I did wrong was I applied for the wrong major. I wanted to get into the physical therapy program when I was finished with my BA so when I filed out my application I picked “pre health” instead of something else. I am going to email the transfer people and see what I can do to better my chances of getting in and apply to UW for the winter quarter. I think I fucked up on my essay too because I didn’t talk about my “culture” enough. I also didn’t have any back up majors listed.

Nothing has changed on myUW.
I was accepted to EE department with GPA 3.26 and 105 credits( retook 3 class, took non-credit 1 class). I didnot participate in any activities in school, but work 35hrs a week. Preq GPA, 3.27 or something. I am instate student from SCC. I only had a little hope that I could get in, but I did. I just want to share for those of you who didn’t get accepted will continue applying next time. Best of luck!

I am going to re-apply for the winter and write up an appeal for winter just in case. I told them I was determined to get in…

WOOHOO!!! Just got my email from the UW welcoming me into the ISS Online program!!!
Nothing has changed on my MyUW page, but if it does I will let folks know. Happy I can just focus on finishing up this summer quarter from hell, and know where I am at in Fall.
