@Aharris1105 Me too! I think in another forum someone said that a lot of letters have been late to come in for summer transfers, though they know whether they got in or not because their application information changed. I never realized how impatient I am until now!

For a second I thought I got the big envelope for the UW when my mom handed me my mail but instead it was a big envelope from Reed College trying to get me to consider them =((

How did you know? Did you get the envelope or the unofficial transcript?
@albertzchen my unofficial transcript loads on MyUW, and it gives me a UW student number. It also says my unofficial transcript was created today 6/14/2016. It used to say 500-internal server error.
@nadayou, may I ask what major you applied to?
@CompSci18 yes, I am a prospective psychology major. I didn’t apply to the major directly because I am missing one pre-req to apply to the psych program so I applied for general admission.

@CompSci18 thank you. Good luck friend :). @tversace yes there is. When you apply the application says what is your intended major and the next question is “did you apply directly to the major?”. In my case I said no because I don’t have all the pre-reqs which means I applied for general admission. I never filled out a separate application for my majors department.
@nadayou I applied to a major because I thought it was just what you intended to do. I do not have any pre reqs for my major, linguistics. I hear that we can still get accepted without being accepted in to a major… is that true? Or if you did click on a major, you have to be accepted to get in to the school?

As far as I understand, as a transfer applicant, if you do not get into your major you do not get into UW. Unless you applied for general admission. However, UW requires you to declare a major by the time you have 120 credits, so if you are close to that and did not get into the department you applied for, it is highly unlikely that you will be accepted for general admission.
