Applied to transfer to UW Seattle for fall 2019 from a Washington CC. My previous quarters’ grades were mediocre but this quarter should be better and will pull up my GPA a bit. I understand that the transfer decision won’t come out till at least May, so I am wondering if I send my better grades and better overall GPA after this winter quarter to UW Seattle, will it boost my chance to get accepted?
Appreciate for any insight and good luck to those applied for a transfer to UW Seattle!
Anyone got experience on this?
@ebsclsgs UW won’t accept any extra materials after the deadline, as far as I know. You can always call admissions or the department you’re applying to and ask them…but keep in mind the acceptance rate for in-state CC students is >60%. Your chances are likely better than you think
@lookingxaround where did you get the >60% number? Did UW posted it on their website? Thanks
@ebsclsgs It’s right on their main ‘apply’ page. Just scroll about halfway down.
