UW vs UIUC?

<p>for engineering what do you guy's think?</p>

<p>I was torn between the two as well, but I could not be more glad I picked UW over UIUC. Just, what is your specific engineering major? It might help. UW is especially outstanding with its Chem E, but UIUC is for other stuffs.</p>

<p>U Illinois is the better university for engineering hands down. You may like UW for other reasons but if you are basing your decsion on which is the better engineering school than Illinois is it.</p>

<p>In any real way there is not that much difference between the #5 and #13 engineering school. You will have essentially the same companies recruiting and the same pay. You can base the decision on which you like better overall for the $$$.</p>
