There isn’t really specification on the Common App for what it wants in regards to the GPA. I have a 3.5 UW GPA and 4.3 W GPA [HPA]. I read on their support forum that if a school takes both unweighted and weighted to put the weighted, but under what scale? At my school normal classes are 4.0, honors classes are 4.5, and AP/IB classes are 6.0. What’s the scale under those rules?
Most schools want unweighted, but it doesn’t matter since they will probabaly Just look at your transcript.
