I’ve seen applicants with 2.6-2.9 GPAs get in, UW looks at your application holistically so GPA isn’t the only factor

<p>@UWchancemeh I wanted to apply to us Seattle too but I just had a baby and by the time I submitted my bothell application it was too late for Tue Seattle ones…I know if I don’t get accepted to bothell I’m going to try to bring my grades up and try to both Seattle and bothell again.

<p>JSmith mentioned that transcripts update at 8PM on weekdays, so maybe they won’t begin to load until tonight…hmm.</p>

<p>I called this morning and talked to Carlos who’s responsible for veterans admissions. His answer to me was that they may be sending out something around Thanksgiving. I’m am dismayed at this news because I wanted to register for classes on the 7th when veterans registration opens up. I hope that the courses I want to take don’t fill up before I finally get notice. </p>
<p>On the 9th of October the admissions advisers were here at Shoreline, I asked them in person when they’d be sending out notification. They told me then that we should hope to expect something at the beginning of this month. I don’t know what to believe anymore. </p>
<p>Wow really is that only for veterans? Or for all admissions?</p>
<p>I tried calling and admissions counselors seems to out of office. I was forwarded to Holly and Devin and they were both not in office.</p>

<p>@nengerz Don’t worry you’ll get in! I got in with a 2.9 when I applied as a freshmen (I chose not to attend)! I just got in for winter quarter too.</p>
<p>For people posting in the future please indicate to where you applied and where you’ve been accepted when stating that you’ve received notification or that your transcripts have loaded. It’s stressful to read that others are getting notification without knowing specifically where to. I’m happy for you, but it makes me start to be concerned for myself when I see that without the further information to ascertain what my situation might be. </p>
