<p>since the personal statements are optional.....i can skip them right? or will they look down upon me because i didnt do them?</p>

<p>also on section B of the app where it says dont answer this section if you answered no to any of the questions in section A....i accidentally answered them when i didnt need to and i cant undo my answers unfortunately so will they also look down upon that mistake?</p>

<p>If you were well beyond VT’s average statistics, then the personal statement won’t matter. If you are in-state with a 1900+ SAT score and a GPA close to 4.00, then you will get into VT regardless of any statement. However, if you are a toss-up applicant, meaning admission could either way, you should have did the statements.</p>

<p>And answering that question won’t have any consequences.</p>
