Va Tech? USF? URI?

Im a upcoming senior from NH.

GPA- 4.0 out of 4.8
SAT's- 1920
AP's- US History, World History, Biology, Computer Sciences, and Physics
Plenty of extracurriculars including work experience since i was 15.

Ive been looking to go to a bigger school that is outside of the NH area. Im currently looking to study engineering... most likely biomedical.

The schools i have been interested in include University of South Florida, Virginia Tech, University of Central Florida, and University of Rhode Island among others.

Any other suggestions as to what schools to consider and my chances at being accepted?

Thanks.

I think you got a good chance. How about Purdue?

im looking to stay on the east coast.

You’ll definitely get accepted to USF. My brother will be a freshmen there this upcoming year and his unweighted GPA was a 3.2. He took 5 APs and was in only a couple of clubs.

im forecasting that USF will be my safety school. or Rhode Island. Both great schools, however my top 2 as of right now (… it seems to change a lot) seem to be Virginia Tech and Florida State. Both schools with more selective admissions… oh and of course thanks to both of you for replying.

USF is a safety.
You have a chance at Virginia Tech, but as an OOS student, you should shoot for a higher SAT.

yeah. i took the sat back in october. so i feel like after a full year of algebra II ill get much better scores. anyone know of any other east coast schools that are comparable to my numbers that offer a strong engineering or psychology program?

and also, what advantages would early decision give to me to anyone of the aformentioned schools?
