so, let's say you're on thanksgiving vacation. is it ok to come back like a day or two after school starts up again? or is that bad to do?

can you miss days/weeks of school without any consequences?

can you miss days/weeks of school without any consequences?

I think that depends on your classes X_X I heard some teachers take attendance and if you aren’t there, your grade could suffer. I would wait to see how your classes function before you decide you are taking a few days off.

if you are in lecture style classes, no professor will care. maybe your section ta would notice and duck you points, but that’s RARE.
should be okay if YOU think you can afford to miss classes

Sorry oneday, but I think you mean “dock” points…

If you are taking a language class or a writing class (like Muir writing) try not to miss any other days. Those classes tend to be less forgiving of absences since those classes tend have a very large participation component. The classes I took (Muir writing, LTFR) were not forgiving anyway.

Like the above say, it really matters mostly on whether or not points are docked in the class for lack of attendence(like I know in Warren Writing more than 2 abstances will result in you failing the class) and whether or not you think you can miss it. Also, know when your quizes are, if you have a quiz or test that day then that would severly hurt your grade.
