Vacational Rentals

A while back, someone posted alternatives to hotel rooms. A vacation rental sounds like a good option for our family for early move-in.

My lacking search schools cannot find that post.

I normally look at VRBO for these types of things, but I remember the post had alternative place to look.

Can anyone help point me to the correct thread or give me direction as to where else to look?

Besides vrbo, I usually check:

homeaway.com and

flipkey.com (I just checked this one, the only AL listings are on the coast).

there is also airbnb.com, which is known more for renting space (ie a couch or a room) in someone’s home but does seem to have a few vacation rental listings for Tuscaloosa

Longhaul, that info was in the post about a parent who had not booked a hotel room for move out. Wish I knew how to link that post for you.

VRBO and Homeaway have kind of combined. You might be able to search on one and get both websites’ listings for Tuscaloosa rentals.

Book now, because venues are filling up fast.
