<p>i may wish to apply ed/rd to penn next year, however my gpa was fairly poor freshman and soph year, but has improved to about a 3.9uw for this year(junior). i’m at lower merion hs(best 100 public in us), about 10mins from PENN(philadelphia suberb). taken many APs and honors, and have started several clubs in the school(and officier of many), many national science awards(science olympiad, tsa). havn’t taken sats yet(will have to be new version), 213 on psats.
a may be working on a westinghouse project in a lab at penn over the summer.</p>
<p>my stepmom and my stepsister both went to penn, does this count for legacy? my mom was a politics professor at penn for my many years beforing going to princeton, will this help? what are my chances as it stands?</p>
<p>hook: heavily into robotics and electrical engineering, i have built and competed “combat robots” since 7th grade. i won a 1st place award for electronic projects in the national tsa competition for building an optical heart rate monitor with computer interface and built in lcd/memory. also very much involved with science olympaid, i’ve earned two national awards in the competition, including 7th place overall.</p>
