  1. The rankings won’t matter between these 2 schools. Even your major doesn’t much for this field. What skills you pick up will matter most for getting a job. BTW, the only reason USC engineering ranks so high is because they game the ranking (fudge numbers).
  2. NPC may be unreliable for transfers, so you really should make a decision only after getting the real fin aid package from USC.
  3. Otherwise, it comes down to fit and where you would want to work after graduation: DMV/East Coast vs CA/West Coast.
