Valentines Day in College

What is Valentines day like at your college? Do students exchange Valentines gifts with their loved ones? Do students give their secret crush a Valentines gift? Are there lots of kissing and going out to fancy restaurants or movies? Or is it pretty much a normal college day?

The dean makes you hand out your Spongebob themed Valentines to everyone in your entire class, so no one gets their feelings hurt.

Usually couples go out to nice restaurants, so if you want to do that you need to make reservations kind of early. It’s only really a big deal if you’re dating someone who makes it a big deal though.

You can pay the a cappella to sing a song to your boyfriend/girlfriend. They then burst into lectures throughout the day, run up to the person, and serenade them.

facepalm

jenx1234’s description is pretty accurate

facedesk

lol yeah…well for most college students who are single or in the awkward hookup buddy stage it’s just a regular day with a bit more chocolate/red-pink clothing than usual. And probably another good reason to drink. For the few people who are in relationships they might go out or something but everyone is mostly poor so nothing is too special for the most part.

Last year my hall decided to buy silly kids’ valentines and exchange them, but that might be atypical. (Mine were Power Rangers Dinothunder.)
