For the Calculus and Physics validation exams the Candidate Academic Background Survey (CABS) says that we are allowed to bring a scientific calculator to use on these exams.

Does anyone know wether we are instead allowed to bring a graphing calculator such as a TI 83 or TI 84? I have a TI 84 that I have used for four years and I am way more familiar with it than with a scientific calculator.

I remember taking a scientific and wishing I had my graphing because I was more used to it. Having a graphing calculator will not help you any more than not having it. I would say if you have a scientific calculator, take both and they will let you know.
Hope that helps and good luck
