Validation "Honors" English 10B, with a regular english course

<p>Here is my situation,
The English class I took during 10th grade is called: Honors English 10AB at my school and got a D the second semester. I retook the second semester over the summer as a Regular English class and got an A. I understand UC’s don’t identify the “Honors” English10AB as an honors course. So since I retook it as a regular course, will the D be validated? So my gpa wont be brought down by the D? Thank you for your help.</p>

<p>As long as the content of the course is fairly similar, the A should replace the D.</p>

<p>Is that because UC’s dont count English 10 as an honors course even if my school does?
So since I took it again this time not as what my school considers honors but instead as what my school considers regular, its validated?</p>
