Does SAT taken 5 years ago (in middle school) still gets sent to a college that asks for ALL scores to be reported?TIA
Your SAT score from middle school should have been deleted after one year. Did you request to have it kept?
Most colleges won’t accept scores over three years old. Call college Board to ask, but I am sure your middle school scores won’t be sent.
Thanks, @Lindagaf, I tried calling the college board today and they give canned answers - about score choice -
which was not my question to them. I am more concerned about colleges that want ALL scores sent to them. I am worried if I chose which scores to send, they would know I did not send one, but not know that was from middle school.
@YoLolololol, I had kept them for SET purposes.
No college will be interested in scores taken in middle school. None. I sm 99.999% crttain you do not have to send those even if a school says they want all scores. I would simply email the ad office of a given college to confirm.
Thank you, @Lindagaf
Adding to Lindagaf’s post above, there are only a small number of colleges that actually require all SAT scores (see discussion here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1912440-must-you-submit-all-sat-act-or-sat-subject-test-scores-p1.html) and none of those require you to provide SAT tests taken in middle school. Also, colleges generally do not use SAT scores (even if taken in high school) that are more than 5 years old when you apply for college.
