D was accepted on 10/26 with good merit award. Anybody else? My D doesn't have any interest in religion, should we even consider Valpo? Comments and suggestions are welcome.

You don’t have to be interested in religion to attend Valpo. However, do know that she will be required to take at least one theology class, usually two to graduate. However, the upper level theology classes are wonderful. There’s one on Native American religions, some on other global religions.

Is she considering the Christ College honors program? I’m a CC senior, and I love the program!

If you have specific questions, I can try to answer them as best I can.

Clarinette - thanks and yes, she is interested in honor program. Do you know when the invitaions to Christ are going to be issued this year?

I think I got my invite mid-December. The webpage says invites start around November 1 and are sent on a rolling basis. Hers may be a little later than I got mine because I applied early action my senior year of high school.

Just received my acceptance from Valpo at 2 AM with $20,000 scholarship. It’s my first acceptance anywhere, feels great :D
