Here is a quote from my Vancouver friend. He is a well-known actor in the area, having worked extensively in Film and Television, and seems quite familiar with the school:

“They are legit but they are a profit-making business and very, very expensive … the quality of the education one purchases there is in direct relation to the quality of the instructor in your chosen field of study … and they (the instructors) change rather often … so when folks ask my opinion about the place, I ask who they will be studying with … some would say that the quality of teaching at other Vancouver institutions (Langara College, for example) would be a higher standard of teaching for about one quarter the cost … check Studio 58 (the Langara Theatre program) or their three year old Film and Television program … one intensive year in acting, directing or writing … as many of the instructors at Vancouver film School are on contract rather than staff, one might also study with them in other venues … the make-up program is world-class as far as instructors and facilities go …”

Hope that’s helpful!
