Vanderbilt and the ACT

"SAT or ACT – The SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT with Writing is required of all undergraduate applicants. These standardized university entrance examinations measure verbal and mathematic skills. Please visit either :: College Planning Made Easy | Inside Source for College Admissions Requirements or ACT: Resources for Education and Workplace Success to register for these examinations. You can also contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or EducationUSA office for a list of testing centers, their locations, and exam schedule. We advise students to take the SAT or ACT exam at least twice and submit all scores. If you take the same test more than once, we will focus our evaluation of test scores on the highest scores available (from either test). "

This was taken from the Vandy website. So, does this mean Vanderbilt now superscores the ACT or takes the highest composite?

Thanks,
Robbie

I read that as taking the highest composite.

when i went they said they will look at all the scores you send them and superscore. but the guy said you now have the option to only send one test even if you have taken it a bunch of times. If you do that they wont obviously

they take the highest ACT composite score and superscore the SAT.

except this coming year the class of 2014 has the option of selecting what they can see on the SAT…some colleges are not accepting Score Choice on the SAT…not sure if Vandy has taken a position yet…
